Brazil's farm exports reach US$ 15.17 billion in September; Japan is the top buyer of Brazilian pork
According to Brazil's Agriculture Ministry, farm exports grew 1.9% in September. Japan was the top destination for pork, and corn sales to Japan were about 26 times higher than a year earlier.

Brazil shipped 3.89 million bags in September (+3.1%), with new-crop coffee reaching exports since August. Japan bought 1.45 million bags from January to September, down 23.3%.

Daiso Brazil starts selling Japanese-grown rice, rolling out to its 185 stores
Daiso Brazil began selling Haenuki rice from Yamagata Prefecture in late September. Japanese rice, so far limited mainly to restaurants and a few shops around São Paulo, is now reaching consumers nationwide.
